How do I Put Ring Tones on the Sprint Touch?
- 1). Download and install Audacity from Sourceforge. Launch Audacity.
- 2). Click "File," "Open" and load an audio file into Audacity. Click "Play" in the top control panel to hear the file, and click "Pause" when you hear the starting point for your ring tone.
- 3). Drag the mouse over the section of audio you want as your ring tone. Click "Play" to hear the selection. Shift-click on either side of the selection to move the start and end points to the exact location. Click "Zoom In" to get a closer view of the sound wave.
- 4). Click "File," "Export Selection as WAV." Name your ring tone file and click "OK." Connect your card reader to a USB slot on your computer, and drag the ring tone file to the memory card.
- 5). Insert the memory card in your Sprint Touch. Tap "Start" on your phone and navigate to your memory card. Tap the ring tone file on the card and save the file under the My Ringtones folder.
- 6). Tap "Start," "Contacts." Choose a contact from your Contacts list. Tap "Menu," "Edit." Choose a ring tone from your My Ringtones folder for this contact.

- 2). Drag your mouse over a section of audio to select it for ring tone conversion. Click "Play Selected" to hear your selection.

- 4). Drag the ring tone file to your memory card and insert the card in your cell phone. Save the file to the My Ringtones folder and navigate to "Contacts" in your "Start" menu. Tap "Menu," "Edit" and assign a ring tone to the contact in your list.

- 2). Click "Browse" to upload a music file from your computer. Alternately, paste the Web address of a video from one of the supported sites: Metacafe, Break, Daily Motion, YouTube or Spike. Click "Upload."
