How to Download Music From Windows Media Player to an iPod

    • 1). Connect your iPod to your computer using the Apple USB cable and allow a few seconds for iTunes to launch on your desktop and sync with the iPod.

    • 2). Launch Windows Media Player on your desktop and select the songs you would like to add to your iPod. You can select the songs by clicking on them, and you can use the "Ctrl" and "Shift" keys to select multiple songs.

    • 3). Drag and drop your selected Windows Media Player files to your iTunes library. Allow a few seconds for the files to load to the new library.

    • 4). Select the "iPod" tab on the left side of iTunes, and click "Music" in the main "iPod" menu.

    • 5). Click "Sync" in the "Music" menu and wait as your Windows Media Player songs load to your iPod. You can disconnect the device from your computer once the iTunes display reads "OK to disconnect."
