- 1). Tap "Settings---General---Network."
- 2). Tap "Set Up Internet Tethering." Tap "Go to Website" in the dialogue box that pops up.
- 3). Log into your AT&T account and scroll down the page to "My Services." Choose a data-tethering plan for your iPhone and tap "Purchase."
- 4). Tap "USB" or "Bluetooth" on your iPhone to designate which type of connection to use for tethering. Press "Home" to exit the Settings menu.
- 5). Connect your iPhone to your computer via USB or Bluetooth. Click the "Start" menu and open the "Control Panel."
- 6). Click "Internet Options---Connections---LAN Settings." Click "Automatically detect settings" to ensure that your computer will connect to the Internet when you connect your iPhone via USB or Bluetooth.
