How to Unlock an iPod Touch When It's Stuck on iTunes
- 1). Press the iPod Touch's "Home" button. Doing so closes iTunes, as long as the program has not malfunctioned to the point where it compromises your device's operating system.
- 2). Hold down the "Lock" button until a "Slide to Power Off" bar appears at the top of the screen, if pressing the "Home" button alone doesn't work. Slide your finger over the bar to power off the iPod Touch, then hold down the "Home" button until the power comes back on.
- 3). Hold down both the "Home" and "Lock" buttons at the same time until an Apple logo appears on the screen to force-restart the iPod Touch.
