How to Open an iPod As a Disk

1). Connect the iPod end (the bigger end) of the iPod's USB cord to the player. Plug the opposite end (the USB end) of the same cord to a USB port on the computer.
2). Open iTunes.
3). Click the iPod name on the left portion of the iTunes program. A group of category tabs will become visible at the top of the program.
4). Click the "Summary" tab. Four options for the plugged-in iPod will appear inside the center iTunes window.
5). Click the box for the "Enable disk use" sync option. If you do not want the iPod to automatically sync to the iTunes software, you should also click the "Manually manage music and videos" box.
6). Click on the "Apply" button that's at the bottom of iTunes to save the change on your iPod.
