How to Make a Mold for Plastic Objects

1). Lay out newspaper on a flat working surface.
2). Stand the object you want to reproduce on top of the newspaper and, using a large paint brush, paint the object with the silicone. Apply several thick layers of silicone compound.
3). Leave the object to dry for 24 hours or according to the silicone manufacturer's instructions.
4). Apply a coat of silicone onto the bottom of the object and allow the object to dry once more.
5). Cut one side of the mold gently with a craft knife and remove the object.
6). Pack the mold with cotton balls or place the object back inside to keep the mold in the proper shape.
