How to Add SIP Routes in Nortel's Signaling Server

    • 1). Log in to your Nortel signaling server mainframe directly or through a VPN connection.

    • 2). Type (on the command line, and without the external quotes) "sudo -uroot -p ntl_sip_add" and press "Enter."

    • 3). Type in the main root password for the signaling server and press "Enter" again.

    • 4). Type out the 10-digit SIP number when prompted and press "Enter."

    • 5). Type in the signal destination route IP address to the hardware device that you want to associate the SIP with, then press "Enter."
