- 1). Jailbreak your iPhone. The easiest way to do this is go to jailbreakme.com/ in Safari on your iPhone and click the "Install AppSnapp" link. This will unlock the phone's operating system and allow root access to the phone's files.
- 2). Download a third-party iPhone disk access software program such as iPhone Folders for Windows or PhoneView from your computer.
- 3). Connect your iPhone to your computer using the iPhone connector dock.
- 4). Start your iPhone disk access program. Depending on the program, you will now be able to look at the files on your iPhone in the program itself, or your iPhone's files will be viewable in Finder (Macintosh) or Windows Explorer (Windows).
