How to Make Homemade Rolls
- 1). Place 1 cup of sugar in a bowl with 2 packages of yeast and then add 2 cups of warm water. Blend together with a wire whisk and then set aside for 5 to 10 minutes, or until frothy.
- 2). Add one egg, salt and one cup of butter to the yeast mixture. Mix well with wire whisk.
- 3). Slowly add the flour and stir until you have a lump of dough. Coat your hands with either flour or oil and kneed the dough for about 5 minutes.
- 4). Grease a baking pan. Seperate dough into tablespoon-sized portions and then sit in the greased pan. Tightly wrap the top of the pan with plastic wrap and set the pan in a warm area to rise.
- 5). Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and then sit the pan of rolls inside . Cook for 15 to 20 minutes or until the tops of the rolls are golden brown.
