How to Do a Word Collage

104 15
    • 1). Gather together words that you want in your collage. The words can relate to a certain subject, such as music, or contain other similar qualities. For example, the letters could all be a color besides black. Cut these from magazines, books, webpages you print from the Internet or words you printed from a word processing program.

    • 2). Order the words on a piece of paper or poster board. If the word collage is for a scrapbook, for example, you'll want to arrange the words on a piece of scrapbook paper. The order you choose is up to you. You can also choose if you want the words to overlap at various angles or if you want the words to line up, similar to a sentence format.

    • 3). Apply glue from a glue stick to the back of each word. Press firmly onto the paper. Smooth down the edges to make sure the entire word sticks to the paper.
