- 1). Connect the HD receiver to a local power outlet. Turn the device on and wait for the receiver to run through its system start-up.
- 2). Slide the Apple iPod onto the iPod dock, located at the top of the iPod HD receiver. This dock fits directly into the connection port, just like the dock that comes with the iPod.
- 3). Press the "Power" button on the iPod, then bring up the main menu and locate a song. Select the song and the audio begins to play through the iPod HD receiver. Turn up the volume on the iPod to ensure the receiver has full control over the volume of the iPod.
