- 1). Button up the front of the child's shirt.
- 2). Turn the shirt inside out and, using the sewing machine or needle and thread, sew a ½ inch seam along the bottom. If hand-sewing, use double thread and close stitches to make the seam stronger.
- 3). Turn the shirt right side out again.
- 4). Open a button or two at the top of the shirt. Insert a child-sized hanger into it.
- 5). Fill the shirt-style clothes pin bag with clothes pins. Hang it on your clothesline to keep the clothes pins within easy reach.
