    Setting Your iPod As an External Disk

    • 1). Connect your iPod to your computer with the supplied USB cable. Open iTunes.

    • 2). Select your iPod in the device list in iTunes. The device list is located on the left side of iTunes, below your music and video libraries.

    • 3). Click on the "Summary" tab, which is located in the middle of iTunes alongside the "Music," "Movies" and "TV Shows" tabs.

    • 4). Click on "Enable Disk Use" in the "Options" section.

    • 5). Click the "Apply" button, located at the bottom of the window, to finish enabling your iPod to be used as an external disk.

    Transferring Photos to the Computer

    • 1). Locate and open the iPod folder on your computer. If you're using a Mac, the computer will automatically recognize your iPod and the folder will appear on your desktop. If you're using a PC, the folder will appear as a removable drive in Windows Explorer.

    • 2). Double-click on the "Photos" folders to open the photos you have stored on your iPod.

    • 3). Highlight the photo you want to transfer by clicking on it with your mouse.

    • 4). Drag the highlighted photo to your computer's desktop and wait for it to finish copying.
