Batteries

• The first thing to check whenever an electronic device doesn't turn on is the batteries. Putting new batteries in the Samsung camera may be all that is needed to make it operational again.
  
  

Lens Check

• If the Samsung camera has an optical zoom lens, it may be stuck. Sometimes when these lenses are unable to extend, the camera automatically switches off. Make sure there are no obstructions within the lens.
  
  

Camera Terminals

• If the camera batteries are fully charged and working properly, there may be a contact problem between the battery and the camera terminals. Using a cleaning product specific for electronic items, wipe the camera battery terminals, cleaning any excess dust and grit that may be there.
