- 1). Plug one end of the Toshiba power cord into the rear of the device, and the other into an AC wall outlet. Press the "Power" button on the remote to power on the TV.
- 2). Press the "Up," "Down," "Left" and "Right" navigation buttons in the center of the remote to navigate through the initial setup installation menu that appears after the first power-on. Navigate to the "Menu Language" option and select the language in which you want the menu to appear by pressing the "Left" and "Right" buttons. Navigate to the "Time Zone" option and select your time zone with the arrow keys, then press "Enter" to save. Navigate to the "Location" option, select "Home" with the arrow keys and press "Enter."
- 3). Select in the next screen whether you use an antenna or cable service to view programming. In the following "Channel Tuning" menu, select the "Standard" option with arrow keys and press "Enter." Select "Scan" on the following screen and your Toshiba LCD TV will search through the available channels, saving those you receive to the TV's memory and removing those you don't. Press the "Ch" up or down buttons when the scan is complete to move to a programmed channel.
