How to Remove MEdia Net
- 1). Press the "Menu" or "Start" button, depending on the layout of your mobile device..
- 2). Press the "Settings" option.
- 3). Locate the option that says "Connections" and select it.
- 4). Scroll through the list of options in the "Settings" menu and locate the option that says "GPRS." Press to select the "GPRS" option.
- 5). Select the option that says "MEdia Net." Thereafter your cell phone's screen will display the various settings MEdia Net utilizes to connect to the Internet. Such settings displayed include "User name," "Password," "Connects to," "IP address" and "Access Point."
- 6). Scroll to the setting that says "Access point." Usually the "Access point" setting will say "wap.cingular." Delete what is written in the field that corresponds to the "Access point" setting. By modifying the MEdia Net settings and causing them to be incomplete, MEdia Net will be unable to connect to the Net and you won't get charged accidentally. It is proactive to write what you deleted from the "Access point" setting on a piece of paper so that if you want to use MEdia Net in the future, you can go back and add the right information again.
