Instructions

1

Practice a favored artistic medium that you can perform with few tools in crowded conditions. Know that most street artists create sidewalk art or performance art for crowds.
2

Create some form of art that keeps with the movement of street art; most of it was spawned from graffiti or miming and continues to thrive in metropolis areas. Make a list of the tools you will need to perform your art.
3

Go out in a burgeoning area of your city to find a prime spot for performing street art. Look for places where other street artists congregate. Observe some of the techniques other street artists use when performing their art, and take note of any tips or tricks.
4

Pack a bag with the tools you will need. Items may include: chalk, canvas, spray paint, oil paints, costumes, instruments or other items. Write a manifesto of what you want your street art to illustrate or of what you are trying to say through your art.
5

Learn about guerrilla art if you do not plan on performing your art in front of others. Practice the fundamentals of tagging and stenciling before going out and placing your art in the public arena.
