Rat, Cow, Tiger, and Rabbit Hand Signs

• The Rat hand seal is associated with North and the month of November. Form this seal by clasping your left hand around the first two fingers on your right hand and holding the signal out in front of your body. The four fingers on your left hand should face away and you should be able to see the last two fingers on your right hand.
  
  For the Cow hand seal, hold your left hand, palm down, in front of you with your fingers spread wide. Take your right hand and slide your right fingers in between the fingers on your left hand. Drop the two middle fingers on your right hand, keeping the two outer fingers on your right hand pointing upward.
  
  To form the Tiger hand seal, bring both of your hands together in a prayer formation. Fold and interlock the last two fingers on each hand. Keep the first two fingers on each hand touching each other and facing straight up.
  
  For the Rabbit hand seal, form a gun with your right hand and slide your left hand pinky finger over the barrel of the gun.
  
  

Dragon, Snake, Horse, and Ram Hand Signs

• The Dragon hand seal is formed by interlocking each finger on your right and left hand. Hold your hands so that your palms are facing you. Next, point both of your pinky fingers downward and raise your thumbs slightly upward (keeping them crossed, one behind the other).
  
  To form the Snake hand seal, start in the same way as you did for the Tiger hand seal, keep your hands in prayer formation. This time, interlock your fingers. Turn your wrists in toward your body to open your palms up a little bit.
  
  If you want to form a Horse hand seal, curl the last three fingers on each hand so that the tips of your fingers are touching the top of your palms. Next, curl your thumbs into your palms. Hold this shape for both hands. Now, move your hands to meet each other. Interlock the last three fingers on each hand and form a steeple with your pointer fingers.
  
  The Ram hand seal can be formed by making a gun in each hand. The gun's barrel should cotain the first two fingers on each hand. To complete the seal, bring your right hand to your left hand. Keep your right hand slightly higher than your left (your right fingers should be a couple of centimeters taller). Unfold the last two fingers on your right and and lock them over the last two fingers on your left hand. Keep your thumbs behind you.
  
  

Monkey, Bird, Dog, and Boar Hand Signs

• The Monkey hand seal is easy to form: Simply take your right hand palm down and place your left hand palm up onto of your right hand.
  
  To form the Bird hand seal, touch the tips of your thumbs together and point them toward you. Fold down and curl your first and third fingers on each hand. Touch the tips of your second and last fingers together. The end result is a kind of steeple with four fingers hanging down curled and your thumbs pointing at your chest.
  
  To form the Dog hand seal, form a fist with your left and and hold it in front of your chest. Take your right hand and place it on top of the fist, palm down.
  
  Lastly, to make the Board hand seal, curl the tips of your fingers to the top of your palms. Bring both of your hands together so that the curled fingers are touching each other. Next, rotate your wrist to make your fingers point toward the floor.
