- 1). Travel to Dewford town and look for a fisherman beside the gym. Speak to the fisherman and he will give you the Old Rod for free.
- 2). Travel to Route 118 and surf across the water to reach another fisherman. Speak to the fisherman and he will upgrade your old rod to the Good Rod.
- 3). Go to Mossdeep city once you have unlocked the location and head toward the space center. Pass by the space center and head north into the nearby house. Speak to the man inside the house and he will give you the Super Rod.
