How to Make a White Foam Cup
- 1). Place a circular object on top of a piece of white craft foam. Make sure the object matches the size of the cup bottom you desire. Metal cans or bottles provide good options. Trace around the object with a pencil. You could also use a compass.
- 2). Cut out the circle base with a pair of scissors.
- 3). Use a ruler to measure the diameter of the circle, which spans from one side of the center to the other. Multiply the measurement by the number 3.14 to find the circle's circumference.
- 4). Draw the outline of a rectangle onto the white craft foam using the circumference as the rectangle's length. Make the height your desired height of the cup. Cut out the outline with scissors.
- 5). Place a line of craft glue along the bottom of the rectangle. Glue the rectangle into place around the circle. Apply an additional line of craft glue to the seam of the cup, where the two edges of the rectangle meet. Hold the seam together by pinching a clothespin in place as a clamp.
- 6). Allow the glue to dry overnight and your white foam cup is ready for use.
