How to Crochet a Hogwarts Afghan

1). Choose yarn colors that match the Hogwarts house you want to represent. Gryffindor colors are red and gold, Hufflepuff colors are yellow and black, Ravenclaw colors are blue and bronze and Slytherin colors are green and silver. Purchase four skeins of each color.
2). Use a size P crochet hook for a simple afghan with large enough stitches to come together quickly. Chain 104 and turn, then double crochet in each stitch across, chain two and turn.
3). Double crochet in each stitch across, chain two and turn, until the first color row is 6inches wide. Switch to the second color and continue until that color row is 6 inches wide as well.
4). Repeat 6 inch sections of each color until the afghan is the length you desire.
