- 1). Draw three straight lines in pencil across the diameter of the piece of plywood with the ruler as a guide. Orient the lines so they divide the circle into six pie-shaped wedges of equal size.
- 2). Draw the outline of your symbols in pencil into one of the six wedges of your hex sign. Repeat this same pattern in each of the other five wedges so they are all identical.
- 3). Paint the hex sign by filling in your designs with colors of your choice.
- 4). Paint one to two coats of clear varnish over the hex sign after the acrylic paints have dried.
