How to Tie Ice Fishing Lures on Your Line
- 1). Thread the end of the line through the lure's eye.
- 2). Fold the line back by 5 inches, allowing the lure to dangle in the newly created loop, and wrap the line around itself five times. This will create a loop between the top of the lure and the line.
- 3). Bring the line end through the loop over the top of the lure. This action will create another loop, then thread the line end back through the loop you just created. When pulled tight, this will form a knot.
- 4). Wet the knot with your tongue, and pull to cinch it tight against the lure.
