- 1). Turn the speaker cone-side down, with the magnet facing up.
- 2). Clean both magnets with the alcohol and cotton balls.
- 3). Apply a spiral of cyanoacrylic adhesive to the existing magnet.
- 4). Put on the protective goggles to protect against small pieces of the edges of each magnet that may chip. Lay the second magnet over the first, so that the two naturally attract.
- 5). Carefully center the two magnets by hand before the adhesive sets up.
- 6). Spread the two long clamps over the speaker's mounting ring and the newly stacked magnet.
- 7). Remove the two clamps after 24 hours, or as directed by the adhesive manufacturer.
