How to Fax Using Windows Vista
- 1). Click "Start" > "All Programs" > "Windows Fax and Scan." This will open the Windows Fax and Scan panel on your computer to begin faxing your documents.
- 2). Click "Fax" at the bottom of the left window to use Fax view and start faxing. If this is your first time faxing, plug in your fax machine to your modem before using the Windows Fax and Scan. When you open Windows Fax and Scan and click "Fax" for the first time, the Fax installation wizard will guide you through setting up your fax machine and sending a fax.
- 3). Press "New Fax" from the toolbar on the Fax and Scan window.
- 4). Provide the necessary information and your sending preferences along with your message. Click "Send" to send the fax.
