- 1). Insert the XP CD into the computer.
- 2). Restart the computer. Press any key to boot from CD.
- 3). Press "Enter" at the welcome screen and "F8" at the license agreement.
- 4). Highlight the drive containing Windows XP and press "R" to perform an in-place re-installation, reconfiguring XP with your new motherboard.
