Terry's BC Fishing Charters

• Terry Weaver is a 25-year veteran of fishing the waters around Prince Rupert along the northern coast of British Columbia. Prince Rupert is only about 100 miles from Ketchikan, Alaska. Weaver, who holds a Masters certificate in marine safety, guides salmon fishing tours from Vancouver Island to Alaska. Charters require a minimum of three days and include the cost of fuel, the captain, ice, bait and fishing gear. Shimano rods and Penn reels are provided for salmon fishing. To make reservations, a 25 percent deposit is required and is non-refundable. However, date changes are possible since charters are available any time of the year. Coastal Island Fishing Adventures

• The Coastal Island Fishing Adventures offers guided salmon fishing trips in the calm waters of Discovery Passage and Campbell River, located on the central east coast of Vancouver Island. The calm river waters make fishing here good year round. Anglers can fish for Chinook salmon all year. July through September offers anglers coho, pink and sockeye salmon and chum salmon. From late December to early March, anglers can fish for Chinook and King Salmon. Coastal Island Fishing Adventures has several boat styles for fishing trips, including 23-foot to 25-foot covered cruisers, and, for one to two people, a 17-foot open Boston whaler or a 14-foot Tyee rowboat.
