    • 1). Hold the free end of the FireLine in one hand and the free end of the fluorocarbon line in your other hand.

    • 2). Overlap the free ends of the line for 8 to 10 inches. Lay the lines beside each other to form a double line in preparation for tying the Uni-to-Uni, or double Uni, knot.

    • 3). Hold the doubled line together at the midpoint of where they overlap.

    • 4). Turn the free end of the FireLine back toward the middle, where the lines are held together, to form an elongated loop along side the double line. Wrap the free end of the FireLine around the double line and through the elongated loop five times. Pull the knot tight.

    • 5). Turn the free end of the fluorocarbon line back toward the middle to form an elongated loop. Wrap the free end of the fluorocarbon line around the double line and through the loop five times. Moisten the knot and pull tight.

    • 6). Hold the FireLine and the fluorocarbon line and pull in opposite directions to snug the two Uni knots securely against each other. Trim excess from the free end of both knots with a pair of scissors.
