    • 1). Download "Subinacl.exe" from www.microsoft.com/downloads or from the link in the Resources section below.

    • 2). Install "Subinacl.exe." This program will allow you to retrieve information on the registry.

    • 3). Download Winhelponline.com's "reset.zip" file from the link in the Resources section. Unzip the file.

    • 4). Double-click the "reset.cmd" file to reset the registry. This file merely contains commands and makes it much easier to reset the registry.

    • 5). Allow your computer to run the command. Restart after the process to finalize all changes.
