How to Operate an Echo PB-251 Blower
- 1). Move the stop switch button away from the "STOP" position.
- 2). Move the throttle lever halfway between the "Idle" and "Full Throttle" positions.
- 3). Pump the purge bulb until fuel is visibly flowing in the fuel tank return line.
- 4). Place the blower on a clear, flat area.
- 5). Grasp the throttle grip with the left hand. Quickly pull the starter rope until the engine fires.
- 1). Allow the engine to warm up at a fast idle for a few minutes before use.
- 2). Depress the throttle trigger to increase engine speed. Release it to decrease engine speed.
- 3). Set the speed with the throttle position lever for continuous use at a single speed. Move the lever forward to decrease speed. Move the lever back to increase speed.
- 4). Stop the engine by releasing the throttle trigger, moving the throttle position lever to the "Idle" position and allowing engine to return to idle. Move the stop switch to the "Stop" position.
