Granite comes from "deep within the earth," claims the site, and, because it cools under a tremendous pressure, grows quite hard. It is prized for its hardness and resistance to staining. Gray granite rock shades may range from dark gunmetal to pale silver. Gray slab granite may be used for building interiors and exteriors.
