- 1). Insert the 9 volt battery into the battery compartment on the rear of the microphone.
- 2). Plug the six wire cable into the microphone connection port of your HAM radio. Depending on the radio you are using, the port is either located on the front or rear of the device.
- 3). Power on the HAM radio. The Red Devil microphone automatically turns on once you hold down the "Call" button on the side of the mic.
