    • 1). Download VHD Resizer (see Resources). Unzip the downloaded file and double-click the "MSI" file to install the program.

    • 2). Run VHD Resizer.

    • 3). Click "Open" and then browse to and select the VHD file you want to resize. Enter a path for the newly resized disk.

    • 4). Select "Fixed" or "Dynamic" to set whether the disk should change its size according to user needs.

    • 5). Set the new size. Make sure you've selected the correct size unit from the drop-down menu.

    • 6). Click "Resize."
