Reset With Your Computer

• 1). Click "Start" and select "Control Panel."
  
  
• 2). Click the "Printers and Other Hardware" option.
  
  
• 3). Right-click the icon for your Lexmark 5300 printer.
  
  
• 4). Click "Printing Preferences."
  
  
• 5). Click "Save Settings" and select "Factory Settings (Defaults)" in the "Restore" section.
  
  

Reset Without Your Computer

• 1). Press and hold the power button.
  
  
• 2). Press and hold the red "X" button while continuing to hold the power button.
  
  
• 3). Press and hold the "Start Color" button while continuing to hold the power button and the red "X" button.
  
  
• 4). Continue to hold down all three buttons until the display reads "Language."
