How to Tie Fishing Knots With Trilene
- 1). Insert the end of the Trilene line into the eye of the hook. Double the line back through the eye of the hook.
- 2). Wrap the line you've just run through the hook eye around the main line five times.
- 3). Thread the end of the line through the loop in the line where it joins the hook eye.
- 4). Wet the line with saliva or water.
- 5). Pull the tag end of the line to tighten the knot. Snip extra line beyond the knot.
- 1). Double 6 inches of line, forming a loop.
- 2). Insert the loop into and through the eye of the hook.
- 3). Wrap the loop around the main fishing line, as if to tie an overhand knot (the knot you would use to tie a knot in your shoelaces).
- 4). Open the loop and pass the hook through it.
- 5). Pull on the end of the loop and the main line to tighten the knot. Snip extra line beyond the knot.
