- 1). Download the Microsoft ActiveSync installation program or the Microsoft Mobile Device Center installation program to your PCs (see Resources). Choose ActiveSync if your computer runs Windows XP or earlier, and choose Mobile Device Center if your computer runs Windows Vista or later.
- 2). Double-click the downloaded installation file and follow the on-screen prompts to install the program. Repeat this process for both computers.
- 3). Plug your Windows Mobile device into one of the computers via a USB cable. This will automatically initiate a ActiveSync or Mobile Device Center program setup wizard.
- 4). Click the check box next to "Calendar." Click the check box next to any other data that you would like to synchronize between this PC and your mobile device.
- 5). Click "Next." Your calendar and all other selected information will be transferred to your Windows Mobile device.
- 6). Unplug your Windows Mobile device and plug it in to the second PC via the USB cable. The ActiveSync or Mobile Device Center program will start automatically.
- 7). Click the check box next to "Calendar" and other type of data that you would like synchronized from this PC.
- 8). Click "Next." Your calendar data and any other specified data will be synchronized with your Windows Mobile unit.
