Activate Through the Internet or Modem

• 1). Click the "Start" menu and click "All Programs." Scroll over "Accessories," and then "System Tools." Click the "Activate Windows" option.
  
  
• 2). Click the "Yes, Let's Activate Windows Over the Internet Now" option.
  
  
• 3). Click "Read the Windows Product Activation Privacy Statement," then click "Back" and finally click "Next."
  
  
• 4). Click, "Yes, I Want to Register and Activate Windows at the Same Time." Click "Next."
  
  
• 5). Fill in the contact information to register. Click "Next." After the wizard completes the activation process, click "OK."
  
  

Activate on the Phone

• 1). Click the "Start" menu and click "All Programs." Scroll over "Accessories," and then "System Tools." Click the "Activate Windows" option.
  
  
• 2). Click the "Yes, I Want to Telephone a Customer Service Representative to Activate Windows Now" option. Click "Next."
  
  
• 3). Call the number on the wizard screen, and follow the instructions. When complete, the activation will notify you. Click "OK."
