How to Make My Bamboo Tablet Work With Windows XP
- 1). Visit the Wacom homepage (see Resources). Click on your location and select your preferred language. For example, click “Americas” and select “English.”
- 2). Click “Downloads” in the navigation bar. Select “Hardware Drivers.” This directs you to a page to locate the necessary drivers for your product.
- 3). Select your model of Bamboo Tablet from the drop-down menu beneath the “Step 1” heading. Highlight “Windows XP” as your operating system beneath “Step 2.” If you are running the 64-bit version of Windows XP, select “Windows XP 64 Bit.” You will automatically be directed to a download page for the necessary driver installation package.
- 4). Click the most recently released driver version from the returned search results. Press “Download” and select “Save” or “Run” in the confirmation prompt. If you choose to save the installation package, select and launch the downloaded file after it is saved.
- 5). Click “Run” in the driver installation prompt. Accept the license agreement for the Wacom Bamboo Tablet drivers. Click “OK” after the installation process is complete and click “Restart Now” to restart your computer. Click the “Start” button and click “Shut Down” if you are not prompted to restart your computer. Your Wacom Bamboo Tablet will function properly after the system is restarted.
