- 1). Place your lamp in a warmly lit area on a flat surface, either on the floor, a table or a counter. Unscrew the lightbulb from the lamp and screw in the green light bulb. Fleas are attracted to lights that glow softly, and particularly green over the usual shade of color, be it yellow or white.
- 2). Place the shallow cookie sheet on the flat surface so that the light is shining directly on it.
- 3). Fill the cookie sheet with craft glue. Since it may be tough to clean, you might want to consider purchasing a disposable aluminum cookie sheet for your flea trap. The warmth of the location and the green light bulb in the lamp will attract the fleas in the room, and the glue in the cookie sheet will ensure that they can't escape.
