How Do I Clean White Wicker?
- 1). Brush the furniture with a medium-bristle brush to remove surface dirt and dust. Inspect the furniture, and determine if it needs a more thorough cleaning.
- 2). Pour 1 gallon of water in a bucket. Add 2 tbsp. of ammonia to the water. Put on rubber gloves.
- 3). Dip a sponge into the ammonia water. Squeeze it gently to remove excess liquid. Wipe the furniture with the sponge. Rinse out the sponge in clean water, as it becomes soiled, before dipping it back into the ammonia water.
- 4). Dip a toothbrush into the ammonia water. Clean the crevices of the white wicker furniture.
- 5). Rinse the furniture with water from a garden hose to remove all traces of ammonia. Pat dry with cloth towels. Allow to air dry for 24 to 48 hours before using.
