What does QMobile's LINQ Brings to the Table?

It has been a month since the LINQ's launch. Huawei and Rivo are going strong and customers are being bombarded with tons of advertisement from all ends. A Pakistani smartphone buyer is as confused as he ever will be.

Challege to Q mobile

Just a couple of years back, an average smartphone buyer had QMobile at the top of his head. But since more competition popped up last year, it seems QMbobile is facing a serious challenge from budget mobile manufacturers.

Getting Grip as Largest Smartphone brand of Pakistan

Neverthelss, in an attempt to reinforce its hold on Paksitani smartphone soil, QMobile has teamed up with another Bollywood actress (this time, it's Priyanka Chopra) to bring mid-high card phone to Pakistan's smartphone customer base. The series will feature three mobiles,  X70, X100 and X300. Here is what you will get from these smartphones.

QMobile LINQ X300

This is QMobile's flagship phone in the lineup after the NOIR series which was a success. LINQ X300 features 1.3 GHz quad core processor with 1GB RAM for smooth, lag-free operations. Maximum capacity for memory is 32GB, in the case 4GB out-of-the-box memory is insufficient.

Back 8MP camera is adequate with front camera being 2MP. It is adequately priced under Rs. 15,000 range and will give you a good value for your money unless selfies are your thing – then you have better options.

Again, for such a price, X300 is a decent entertainment and communication device.

Qmobile LINQ X100

The processor is somewhat same but the RAM is a bit on the lower side – 512 MB. Battery is 1500 mAh and the back cam is 5MP. X100's screen size is also above average, 4.5 to be exact. Again, if you are into selfies, you might not like the VGA output. For 11,000, this is a good browsing, communicating and streaming companion.

Qmobile LINQ X70

While X300 offers 1,800 mAh battery and X100 offers 1,700 mAh battery, X70 only offers 1,500 mAh, so don't get carried away with social network and music. Screen size is 4 inches, so I recommend going for X300 if you need a bigger screen. And though you will get only 512 MB RAM, the price tag under 10,000 makes it worth your while.

To sum up,

LINQ series can be labeled a mid-range series at best because its finest offering can be compared to mid-card Samsung and HTC phones. If you want something more exquisite in Q Mobile, look for Z6.
