- 1). Clean the wound completely, irrigating with a heavy spray of saline or a sterile cleanser recommended by your doctor.
- 2). Squeeze the Accuzyme tube to dispense the ointment. Apply the ointment to the wound, covering the surface area. Follow your doctor's instructions regarding the amount of Accuzyme to apply.
- 3). Secure a sterile adhesive bandage over the wound, sealing it completely around all sides. Make sure that the sterile pad of the bandage covers the entire wound.
- 4). Cap the ointment tube tightly. Store it in a cool, dry location.
- 5). Follow your doctor's directions regarding intervals between reapplications of Accuzyme. Use a fresh bandage each time you apply Accuzyme.
