How to Get Windows Vista to Install Updates
- 1). Turn on your computer and click on the start button in the bottom left corner.
- 2). Place your cursor on "All programs," and it will show each program listed in your start menu. Once the list is showing, click on "Windows update."
- 3). The "Windows update" window will open. Click on "Change settings," found in the left column.
- 4). The "Change settings" screen should appear, and you may select how you would like Windows to handle and install updates. Read through the first three selections and choose the one right for your needs by clicking on the appropriate bubble.
- 5). When finished, click "OK" to save and exit.
