How to Make a Cut Out Skeleton
- 1). Draw the skull and neck bones on one piece of white construction paper. Draw the chest, ribs and backbone on another piece. Draw the hands, upper and lower arm bones on another piece. Draw the feet, upper and lower legs on another. Alternately, you can find a pre-designed template online.
- 2). Cut each bone or bone group out carefully. Separate the upper and lower arms, as well as the upper and lower legs.
- 3). Use your paper punch to make small holes in each bone where they connect to other bones. For example, the bottom of the upper arm and top of the lower arm should each have a hole. Lay the bones out in a skeletal shape and begin pushing paper fasteners through the bones where they connect to one another. When finished, key joints like the elbows, knees and neck should move freely.
