How to Remove Rubber Cement From the Walls

1). Use your fingers to rub off as much of the rubber cement residue as you can.
2). Mix one tsp. of mild detergent, one with no bleach or alkalies, into one cup of lukewarm water. Wet and wring a cloth in the solution and wash the stained area with it.
3). Place a pea-sized dab of petroleum jelly on a clean, dry cloth and wipe it over the rubber cement stain. Remove any excess petroleum jelly with a clean cloth that has been wrung in a mild soap and water solution. Dry the wall thoroughly.
4). Wipe the rubber cement stain with an adhesive remover such as Goo-gone. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for use.
