- 1). Press the "Menu" key on your BlackBerry smartphone and click the "Instant Messaging" icon.
- 2). Click "BlackBerry Messenger" and wait for the application to open.
- 3). Scroll down and click "Invite Contact."
- 4). Click "Invite by Sending a PIN or Email Message" and enter the person's BlackBerry PIN or email message in the "To" field.
- 5). Scroll down and click "Send" to deliver the invitation to the other person's email address or BlackBerry.
