    • 1). Download MapSet Toolkit by clicking on the "MapSetToolKit_v1.75.zip" link on the application's homepage (http://cypherman1.googlepages.com/home).

    • 2). Select "Save File," choose a location on your PC and then download the file. Install the application by double-clicking on the file and then following the prompts.

    • 3). Go to the cGPSmapper homepage (http://cgpsmapper.com/buy.htm), click on the "cGPSmapper version 0100a for Windows" link, choose "Save File" and then choose a PC location for the file. Install cGPSmapper by double-clicking on the file and then following the prompts.

    • 4). Go to the "C:\Garmin" directory on your PC and then create a subdirectory. To create a subdirectory, right-click in the "C:\Garmin" directory, select "New," choose "Folder" and then type a name for the subdirectory.

    • 5). Drag your .IMG file into your newly created subdirectory. Since MapSet Toolkit does not recognize files with non-numerical names, rename your .IMG file by highlighting the file, right clicking, selecting "Rename" and then typing a numerical name for the file.

    • 6). Open MapSet Toolkit, click on the "Select IMG files" button, select your .IMG file and then choose the "Add" button. You have the option of adding multiple .IMG files.

    • 7). Select the subdirectory that contains your .IMG files as the "Mapset directory" under the "Create Mapset" section of the dialog box and then type a name for your mapset and any four-digit code in the "Mapset name" and "Product code" fields, respectively. If you would like to enter copyright information, type the information in the "Copyright info" field.

    • 8). Select the location of the "cgpsmapper.exe" directory at the lower left of the dialog box under the "cgpsmapper" section. Typically, the "cgpsmapper.exe" directory is located in the "C:\Program Files\cGPSmapper" directory.

    • 9). Check the "Install in MapSource" box located under the "Options" section, click "Start" and then wait as Mapset Toolkit converts your .IMG files. Receive a "Convert Termined" message in the dialog box.
