Repairing a Scuff Mark on a Window
- 1). Rub the scuff with a moist melanime dirt eraser sponge. If the scuff is minor, this may be all you need to do.
- 2). Dip a small area of a polishing cloth into glass buffing compound. Rub the area with the compound in a counterclockwise motion until the scuff disappears. Turn the polishing cloth over to a dry area and rub the excess compound away.
- 3). Polish the area using a rotary tool or drill with a polishing pad attachment. Turn the tool on to a low speed and touch a corner of the pad to the buffing compound. Touch the pad to the scuff and move the tool in a counterclockwise motion to remove the scuff.
