- 1). Open the hood and locate the interior air filter. It's mounted against the firewall on the passenger's side of the engine bay (in front of the battery).
- 2). Open the three clamps from the filter compartment. Remove the cover and pull the filter out with your hands.
- 3). Tap the filter gently over a trash receptacle to remove any large debris. Turn the filter over and tap the other side.
- 4). Reinsert the filter into the compartment. Replace the cover and engage the clamps to secure it.
