- 1). Press the "Menu" key on your phone. This is located left of the trackball.
- 2). Scroll to the "Lock" icon.
- 3). Press the trackball while the icon is highlighted to lock your keyboard.
- 1). Press any key to take the phone out of standby mode.
- 2). Select "Unlock."
- 3). Press the "*" and "Send" buttons to unlock the keyboard. If you set a password for your phone, enter the password and press the trackball.
